Abstract
Purpose :ASCUS is a diagnosis of exclusion for cytopathologic findings. ASCUS is not synonymous with previously used terms such as atypia,¡¡"benign atypia", "inflammatory atypia",¡¡or "reactive atypia",¡¡which had included lesions currently classified in Bethesda System as reactive cellular changes. Most of these mild abnormalities will go away without treatment. So, there is no definitive treatment. The options are colposcopy and biopsy; repeat Pap tests at four-to-six month intervals, with colposcopy if the results continue to be abnormal; or triage using DNA testing for cancer-associated human papillomavirus types. However the entire SCJ(squamocolumnar junction) with early metaplasia cells is more susceptible to oncogenic factors, which may cause these cells to transform in to CIN. The main purpose of this clinical studies are to investigate the effect of Bee Venom Therapy on ASCUS.

Methods : We researched two patients of ASCUS who were treated at CHA Gynecologic Oncology Center from 2002. 2 to 2002. 5. For that period they was treated with Bee Venom Therapy total twelve times.

Results : Two patients who were treated with Bee Venom Therapy recovered from ASCUS.

Conclusion :Bee Venom Therapy is effective to prevent ASCUS from progressing to CIN(Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia).
